Exceptionally overdue Christmas Craftiness

I had a teensy bit of minor surgery on Friday, so I’m catching up on long over blog posts… for instance, what I crafted for Christmas… which was last month. Whatever, moving on!

Christmas theme this year: Candy. I bought clear, empty balls from Michaels, and filled them with candy from the dollar store.

We also glued those red/white swirly mints on silver ribbon and wrapped it around the tree.

…and then I failed to take a picture of the tree. But just know that it looked really nice, lots of colors.

For my co-workers, I made them cards with hot chocolate inside. (Which I got from Big Lots for $1/box.)

This was by far my favorite card. I stamped it on white card stock, and colored it with pastels.

So, um, Merry Christmas?

My craft room

We’ve decided to mirgrate my craft room downstairs to the basement – I kinda outgrew the 1/2 of the guest bedroom I’d been allotted.

I’m just painting now, but here’s the conglomeration of things I’d like to get/have already purchased for my room

I am sad to announce the passing…

…of our beloved Beta fish Fukudome. (4/08 – 1/09). He always greeted us with a wiggle of his tail. Not a fighter, more of a lover. He will be missed.
